Happy birthday !

I made a dedicated post with a few stats just a while ago, but it doesn’t hurt to celebrate here as well.

In one year, I feel like this game has started to take root in the Adult VN Landscape. Now comes the hardest part : being able to see this project go all the way to its final version.

Thankfully, motivation is not a problem : I’m still hyped up as ever. Writing G’raha is a treat, and I can’t wait till I get to Lyse, Thancred, Hien, Venat or many others. That’s a huge motivator to keep going, and I have a pretty clear roadmap for the next updates.

The only obstacle would be financial. With your support I was able to break through the $100 / month limit on Patreon, which is already a feat in itself. While I still rely mostly on my savings to keep commissioning Syllax, Michelle, Elz, Muchkin, RamenPixel and Sinziana for their respective (gorgeous) work, this monthly sum already makes a huge difference.

Obviously making a game that costs more than it earns takes its toll. I’ve had doubts, I’ve had anxiety showing its ugly face, but that also got me to think ahead and plan : there’s still many things I could do before I get to a point where this becomes a worry. And just to make it clear : no matter what happens Fourteenth Fantasy will remain free.

So… Yeah. Here we are. It’s been one hell of a year, and I’m praying the Twelve we’ll get many others ahead (and maybe even smooching the Twelve themselves someday?)
