Dear audience, I hope this weekly log finds you well,

Again, this week has been pretty calm. I first had to make new archives for the $10 and $20 patrons, the former with SFW assets and music, the latter with NSFW images and their concept art. Then I spent quite some time working on how to get better visibility on Itch.io.

Basically, as a game creator you can put a maximum of 10 tags on your game, but there’s no way of knowing beforehand which tags are the most used. For example, I did know (from the "analytics" data) that lots of people arrived on the game’s page from the "gay" and "lesbian" categories, but I tried to look how quick my game popped up on the feeds, and realized Itch’s search system was first suggesting to add the "LGBT" tag in the search. And as I didn’t have it, the game didn’t appear.

So basically, I tried to give each of my tags some thought to make sure they were relevant (something, I admit, should have been done months ago)

I also realized that, while I did have a great average rating, the low number of reviews made it so FF:HR show up very low on the list. So if you ever want the game to be seen more on Itch.io, please consider rating the game with your honest opinion !

And with that, I’ll take an official break for a week, then start the real work on 0.4 afterwards. To be honest, I can’t wait to get my hands on G’raha’s story, so this should be fun. As always, you’ll still find me on the Discord. See ya !
